Daniel Reznik

Daniel Reznik leads the Anatomical Basis of Cognition (ABC) lab at the University of Oxford and Kavli Institute for Systems Neuroscience (NTNU). 

His research focuses on the functional neuroanatomy, development, and evolution of distributed cortical and subcortical circuits supporting cognition, with a particular interest in the hippocampal system. His lab combines 7-Tesla fMRI, comparative neuroanatomy, and computational modeling to study the fine-grained anatomy and function of human and animal brains at the individual-subject level and across different time-scales. He uses these methods to understand how human hippocampus-dependent cognition emerges over development, how it evolved across species, and how it breaks down in neurodegenerative diseases.
