In June 2022, the Football on the Brain project team at the University of Oxford hosted representatives from the project's five partner organisations: Football Beyond Borders, Ignite Sport, SheKicks Magazine, Oxford United in the Community, and Oxford University Sport. The meeting took place at WIN (the Wellcome Centre for Integrative Neuroimaging, where the project's research team is based).

After presentations from all five partner organisations and WIN's Director/Football on the Brain research lead, Professor Heidi Johansen-Berg, attendees discussed various aspects of the project. First, the focus was on audiences, messages, and communication channels, before shifting to explore goals for the project's outcomes and impact.

This was a wonderful opportunity for everyone involved in Football on the Brain to meet in person and feel galvanised about working on this project for the next four years. We look forward to all the activities ahead!
