Rik Henson The Open Science Ambassadors invite you to mark your calendars for the 9th September for a talk by Professor Rik Henson (link to more info about the speaker) on his experiences with sharing neuroimaging data. Lunch will be served at 1pm, and the talk will start at 1:30pm. Both lunch and the talk will take place in the Cowey rooms (FMRIB Annexe) with the option of joining online. If you would like to meet Rik after the talk, please get in touch with Anna Guttesen, anna.guttesen@ndcn.ox.ac.uk.

Just after the talk, there will be a meet-the-speaker session for ECRs from 2:30pm-3:15pm. Join a group of ECRs to meet and have a chat with Rik!

A summary of the talk from the speaker: 
"I will review why it is important to share data in science, and what, where, how and when to share them. I will then describe our experiences at the MRC CBU in establishing our Data Repository (https://www.mrc-cbu.cam.ac.uk/publications/opendata) to provide managed access to human behavioural and neuroimaging data associated with all our publications. This experience including issues of consent, data protection, DUAs and commercial access."
